The final Monday Night Football game of the season, it went very quick.
Minnesota Vikings vs Chicago Bears (H) (Vikings by 8, opened 7.5)
I am going with the Bears +8, in what I predict will be an very ugly game. It is going to be very cold (windchills in the single digits) and I would bet against the old man. Brett Favre has not looked good at the end of the past two seasons in these cold weather games. I don’t trust Jay Cutler against the Vikings defense, but they have injuries. This is the third game they will be playing without linebacker E.J. Henderson who is out for the year. Defensive tackle Pat Williams is questionable and cornerback Antoine Winfield probable. I can see the Vikings being cautious with these guys especailly considering the climate. The Bears will have to help out left tackle Chris Williams (who is banged up), he is going against top pass rusher Jared Allen. If the Bears can do that and run the ball just a little bit I think Favre will give them some points. I would still expect the Vikings to win, but I could see this game being close. I would lean towards taking the under, but I am afraid of big plays on both sides. I am expecting to see a few defensive/special teams touchdowns.
Bears +8 (2 out of 5)
